  4. Partner conversations
    1. 604 and 605. What are the thoughts, beliefs, and convictions shared by the community of Salem?
    2. What are the Proctors struggling with right now?
    3. On pages 606 and 607 mark the places that relate to new knowledge or awareness. What do these details suggest about the ways in which the characters in Salem are changing?
    4. On pages 608 and 609 mark details that relate to childish or immature behavior. How do these details better help us understand Mary Warren?
