Welcome to second semester

Big Idea: What does food tell us about ourselves and how we treat our planet?

Reading: Today we will go to the library and check out independent reading books.



Agenda:
  1. First-day basic information slides.
  2. Write me a letter of understanding.
    1. What has your high school experience been like so far?
    2. What do I need to know about you? Likes, hobbies, music, what you like to watch, etc.
  3. We will go to the library and check independent reading books. Make sure to bring these each day.
Success Criteria:
  1. I introduced myself to Mr. Brubaker
  2. I checked out a book to read for the next four weeks.
Homework:
  1. Start reading your book at home for 10 minutes.
