Old Major's Speech

Reading: Animal Farm chapter 1


Agenda:
  1. Work on vocabulary unit for this week.
  2. Old Major using the propaganda technique Card Stacking in his speech to the other animals.
    1. Create a T-chart to list the positive traits of animals and the negative traits of humans in Old Major's speech.
    2. Add to the chart the missing information about animals and humans.
    3. Write a paragraph that analyzes why Old Major uses the Card Stacking technique in his speech.
