Reading: Animal Farm chapter 1
Agenda:
- Work on vocabulary unit for this week.
- Old Major using the propaganda technique Card Stacking in his speech to the other animals.
- Create a T-chart to list the positive traits of animals and the negative traits of humans in Old Major's speech.
- Add to the chart the missing information about animals and humans.
- Write a paragraph that analyzes why Old Major uses the Card Stacking technique in his speech.
